“Art for Windows”

ViSonic Systems and Janthina Images Collaborated on “Art for Windows” at the Las Olas II Art Festival

The Las Olas II Art Festival was held March 6th and 7th on true “chamber of commerce” days. More perfect weather for a stroll down an art venue could not have been ordered!! This Howard Alan Event was successful, highly organized, and very well attended.

Janthina and ViSonic came together to present not only the art images of Janthina on art papers and canvas but also the Janthina “Cypress Egret’ scene on a Lutron motorized shading application. We had many visitors who thought this was a wonderful concept..beautiful and functional!! The remote control ,for demonstrating the function of the screen with its many preset positions and the motorized rear sheer sunshade,  was used so much we joked that we were hired to do lifetime button push testing on the device at the show. The shading and its electronics performed perfectly throughout and demonstrated how function and atmosphere through the use of art can enhance a room.

Energy conservation has always been an important goal and today ever more so. Lutron Shading and Lighting solutions offered through ViSonic Systems’s design and installation services works towards that goal through the management of both artificial and natural lighting.

Janthina Images’ calendars, cards, matted and framed prints, and new canvas items were well received, drew interest and many questions. It is always a pleasure to have the chance to talk photography, tell stories, and have the opportunity to meet new and existing patrons at such a beautiful venue.

See you next time!!
